The Frank Church Symposium

2010

Held every spring on the Idaho State University Campus, the Frank Church symposium is the only one of its kind in the region and one of very few in the USA! Here we honor Idaho Senator Frank Church, who chaired the US Committee on Foreign Relations during the Vietnam War. His distinguished leadership and principles are reflected in our symposium.

The symposium is planned, organized, and run by students of ISU's International Affairs Council and sponsored by ASISU. We, the IAC, believe that understanding different viewpoints strengthens and enhances our community. Through presentations and open discussion we proudly share experts from around the country and the world who fulfill this goal.

The topic for the 2010 symposium is the Middle East and will be held the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of March. We are currently in the planning stages and new information will be posted as it is confirmed. Subscribe to our blog for the most up to date information.

We encourage you to attend some or all of the events and please bring a friend. The symposium is free and all are welcome! All events will be held in the Pond Student Union Building at Idaho State University, unless otherwise noted.

Warm Regards,
