Student IT Technician
Incumbents provide on-going support to clients regarding the efficent operation and use of computerized client information systems and resources. Incumbents use knowledge of computer technology to provide services to end-user groups or other technical support personnel in resolving user problems. Provide first-tier user support and serve as a primary contact for clients. Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains hardware and software products; facilitates backup and recovery; identifies, evaluates, and may correct hardware, software, and operational problems; may provide technical guidance and one-to-one training to end-users; Some knowledge of computer hardware and software installation may be required. May require experience in identifying and resolving computer and system problems.
Pay range: Min $7.25 - $13.14 hr
