Parking Assistant
Provides customer service, provides security/safety functions, patrols lots and garages, and enforces parking rules and regulations, provide routine mainenance on meters and signs. These positions may involve lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds; working outdoors in all weather conditions; visually observing activities in assigned areal. Provides public service by explaining parking policies and answering questions from students, staff, and public; provides general campus and directional information; issues parking permits; patrols campus lots and garages and enforces parking regulatsion; verifies parking permits, ownership, and registration of vehicles; operates a computerized ticketing system; directs traffic as necessary; assists mainenance staff in all aspects of parking lot and equipment mainenance; may assist in office support functions such as preparing correspondence and billing statements, filing, or researching outstanding tickets.
Pay range: Min $7.25 - 8.60 hr
