Position:  Physician and Director

Student Health Center. Non-Classified;.70 FTE; 12-month appointment beginning July1, 2008.

Responsibilities

Direct and administer the ISU Student Health Center, a comprehensive out-patient clinic. Provide primary care to students and their spouses; oversee financial/administrative operations on student health issues; serve on University committees; assist staff and providers in meeting and assessing the Student Health Center mission and goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited osteopathic or medical school. Board Certified in a primary care discipline. Idaho medical licensure required prior to appointment. DEA and state controlled substance registration required prior to appointment. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and leadership skills required. Professional practice style must be compatible with multidisciplinary team and supportive of the Student Health Center's and the University's mission.

Preferred Qualifications

Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with previous practice experience preferred. Previous college health experience preferred.
