Position: Recruiter/Admissions Specialist
College of Technology; Full-time, 12-month appointment, anticipated start date on or before July 1, 2008.
Responsibilities
Provide prospective students with College of Technology program information and support services; develop marketing plans and programs to attract specific populations to the College; visit high schools throughout the state and surrounding areas; represent ISU College of Technology at college fairs, informationals, and special events; communicate with counselors, instructors, and administrators at both the secondary and postsecondary level; correspond with Community Relations, program coordinators and faculty; follow-up with inquiries and questions from prospective students, faculty and staff; perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with University faculty, staff, students, and the community. Applicants must have the ability and desire to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to fluently speak Spanish. Excellent computer skills
