Position: Assistant Professor, Audiology

Communication Sciences & Disorders and Education of the Deaf, CSED; Full-time; 9 month; Tenure Track appointment starting August 2010. Position located at the Idaho State University Health Science Center in MERIDIAN (Boise, Idaho).

CSED Department

The CSED Department is a part of the Kasiska College of Health Professions.  CSED has over 100 graduate students and 150 undergraduate students in four different programs on either the Pocatello or Meridian campuses or the online programs. Responsibilities

Teach academic courses, conduct research, and participate in service activities for the Idaho State University Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program. 

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate in Audiology or closely related field; ability to perform classroom and clinical teaching/supervision, demonstrated potential to engage in research in the discipline, especially externally funded research. Must be eligible for state licensure in audiology.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D in Audiology and teaching/research experience; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
