Position: Assistant Professor, Health Care Administration
Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences/Program of Health Care Administration; Full-time; Tenure Track; 9 month appointment beginning August 2010.
Responsibilities
Teach in at least three of the following areas specific to healthcare administration; Health Policy, Health Finance, Leadership; Operations and Quality; Healthcare Law. The successful candidate will assume a key role in developing the student experience regarding the practical application of management in the health field, in addition to expanding the department's research portfolio in health administration. The successful candidate will be expected to seek external funding.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have an advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, MHSA, or other relevant health professional degree) in health administration, health services management, finance, health policy or related discipline. Students in the final stages of degree completion will be considered. Experience in healthcare management setting preferred.
