Position: Assistant Director of Research and Doctoral Education
School of Nursing; 10-11 month appointment/negotiable. Successful applicants shall meet the School of Nursing's criteria for the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.

School of Nursing
The School of Nursing has a total student enrollment of 400 students and currently offers baccalaureate and masters programs. Doctoral (PhD and DNP) programs are in development. Traditional undergraduate programs are located in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. An accelerated baccalaureate program is located in Boise. Online programs include RN-BS, AD-MS, BS-MS, and Post Master’s certificate. Graduate options include Clinical Nurse Leader, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education and Nursing Leadership. The baccalaureate and master’s programs in nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Job Description
The School of Nursing is seeking an experienced, innovative individual to develop and oversee development and implementation of the PhD and DNP programs. This individual will also lead the School in research, maintain a nationally recognized, externally funded program of research, mentor faculty, and address the goal of increasing extramural funding in the School.
Qualifications
Earned doctorate in Nursing. Record of extramural funded program of research. Strong leadership, integrity and organizational abilities. Eligible for licensure as RN in Idaho.
