Position: Assistant Professor, Social Work
Full-time, tenure-track, 9-month contract starting August 2008.
Responsibilities
Idaho State University invites applications for one tenure-track position beginning August 2008. Primary responsibilities are in grant writing and teaching undergraduate and graduate statistics. Other classes are open, but preference is given to applicants with interest in 1) health related areas (e.g. gerontology, substance abuse, hospital care, rural service delivery, etc); 2) criminal justice (e.g. prevention, rehabilitation, forensics, etc.); and 3) Hispanic, Native American issues. The social work program is part of an interdisciplinary department grounded in the liberal arts.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Social Work from an accredited social work program. LCSW preferred, but not required. Successful candidates will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and school.
