Position: Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Sciences (3 Positions)
College of Pharmacy; Full-time; Tenure-track; 9 month appointment.
Responsibilities
We are seeking colleagues to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program, the Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program, and other allied health programs. One position is in the area of neuropharmacology. This individual will be expected to provide instruction in CNS pharmacology to pharmacy students, graduate students, and allied health students. An animal-based research program in neuroscience is required. The second position is in the area of cardiovascular pharmacology and will require teaching and research in this specialty. The third position is in pharmaceutics and will require teaching lecture and laboratory classes (pharmaceutics, compounding, dosage form design) to pharmacy students and graduate students.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in pharmacology or pharmaceutics. Applicants are expected to have an active research program with promise for obtaining extramural funding; proficient in both oral and written English.
