ISU Cares Customer Service Program

ISU Cares is a customer service program designed to encourage the following:

Caring Attentive Respectful Efficient and Effective Service

 
	Sheri Dewey, Associate Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships at ISU Idaho Falls, was recognized in a surprise ceremony on January 12, 2012, to acknowledge her as Idaho State University's 2011 ISU Cares Provider of the Year!
				
	Sheri has been recognized through our ISU Cares surveys many times over the last 3 years. She provides exceptional service to students, parents, coworkers, and the community. President Vailas and Vice President Fletcher traveled to Idaho Falls to make the presentation where she received a certificate, large framed check and the real thing - a $1000 check!
							
	Congratulations to all of our past ISU Cares winners for providing exemplary customer service to all you come in contact with. Our customers are very important to us and we strive to give them the best service possible. Sheri Dewey is a perfect example of an excellent customer service provider! Congratulations to Sheri, but more importantly, thank you, for delivering exceptional customer service and for representing Idaho State University so positively!
							
	A committee representing students, staff and faculty carefully studied every nomination that was sent in during 2011. Sheri Dewey stood out as a perfect example of an exemplary customer service provider.

Big Changes Ahead

We have added the following enhancements to the ISU Cares Customer Service Program:

1. Customer Service Provider of the Year Award $1000

(Current award given to an ISU employee for their exemplary service)

$250 runner up award (new!)

* An ISU Cares committee consisting of a faculty member, student, and staff representative will monitor all ISU Cares Surveys sent throughout 2012, either online or in paper form, to award the ISU Cares Customer Service Provider of the Award and runner up awards. This will take place in January.

2. ISU Cares Manager Award - $1000

This brand new award will allow ISU managers, deans, directors and supervisors to nominate an ISU employee from their department for their excellent customer service. This award will be given based upon the nominations sent in. A call for nominations will go out to the campus sometime in November. ISU Cares surveys will not be used for this award.

* An ISU Cares committee consisting of a faculty member, student, and staff representative will assess the nominations and award the first ever ISU Cares Manager Award in January. The person who is chosen for the ISU Cares Manager Award will be awarded $1000!

3. ISU Cares Department of the Year Award - Pizza & Pop Party Sponsored by ISU Credit Union

Throughout the past several years we have had many departments recognized through an ISU Cares Survey. This year, the ISU Credit Union is sponsoring our new ISU Credit Union Pizza & Pop Party! This recognition award will be given to the Idaho State University department that has surpassed expectations of great customer service, and is consistenly recognized through our ISU Cares surveys for going above and beyond their duties to provide excellent customer service.

* An ISU Cares committee consisting of a faculty member, student, and staff representative will assess the nominations of departments for our first ever Pizza & Pop Party in January.
