In an effort to support healthy lifestyles, the Office of Group Insurance will be removing the $250 limit on Wellness/Preventive care services in our Traditional and High Deductible medical plans, eliminating the $20 In-Network copay for Wellness/Preventive care services in our PPO medical plan and adding Women’s Preventive Health services to each medical plan.
The annual maximum benefit limit in each medical plan will be increased from $1,250,000 to $2,000,000.
New for FY2014 is a Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC), which is required by PPACA. Each SBC provides a detailed medical plan summary including the changes for the coming year, so that you have all the information you need in order to determine whether you want to change plans during Open Enrollment. If you are unable to access the SBC electronically you can obtain a hardcopy from our office. Here is the link to Office of Group Insurance.
There will be no changes to the dental plan for the coming year.
Effective July 1, we will be changing the FSA debit card fee. The current fee is $1.50 per month; the new fee will be $10.00 per year and will be deducted from an employee’s account during the first month he/she is enrolled in the plan. The fee for replacement cards will reduce from $10.00 to $5.00.

If you wish to make any of these changes, hardcopy Open Enrollment forms must be submitted to Human Resources no later than 3:00 pm on Friday, May 17. Forms received after that date cannot be accepted.
If you do not want to change from one medical plan to another or enroll/re-enroll in the FSA program, you do not need to do anything during Open Enrollment.
