FY2013 Medical and Dental Plan Renewal
Employee-paid premiums will be increasing effective with coverage for July 1. Rates for employee will increase between $4 per month to $28 per month.
Effective the first pay date in June, the part-time tier system will be restructured to a two-tier structure. Employees working 30-40 hours per week will be in the new full-time tier and employees working 20-29.9 hours per week will be in the new part-time tier.

Other benefits news:
- Effective July 1, the vision benefits will be enhanced; the reimbursement amounts for exams, frames and lenses are all being increased.
- The current supplemental life plan will continue until the end of this calendar year. Effective January 1, 2013, an enhanced voluntary life plan will be implemented and will allow employees to elect up to three times their annual salary in coverage and select additional dependent life coverage.
- The enrollment waiting period for our FSA plan is being eliminated. Previously, new employees had a 10 month waiting period before they could enroll. New employees will be able to enroll in the FSA on the first day of the month following their date of hire, provided an application is submitted within 30 days of hire.
