I received my Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Nevada and my M.A. and B.S. from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Prior faculty appointments were at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Prior to being a Counselor Educator I served as a rehabilitation therapist for adjudicated youth in Connecticut for nearly six years. My scholarly and research interests include multicultural counseling competencies, student-athlete identity development, group work, and mental health counseling.
