Applying for On-Campus Housing
To Apply For the Residence Halls submit the following:
Housing Application and Residence Life Agreement with $150.00 deposit.
By submitting the above documents will we be able to place you in an assignment for the Residence Halls. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the Residence Life Agreement.
Dates to Remember:
Freshman Pre Registration:
Incoming ISU students can sign-up when they attend freshman registration at Idaho State. Both the application and residence agreement are required along with $150.00 at the time of room selection.
Late Spring: Assignments for the following fall semester are made as students apply.
July 15th: Last day to cancel in writing to receive a deposit refund.
Late July: You will receive a letter of assignment with your roommate's name, home address, and home phone number.
Early August: You will receive a welcome packet, which contains check-in information, bed sizes, opening dates, and more.
To Apply For On Campus Apartments:
- Complete the Housing Application to be placed on the waiting list for on-campus apartments. Be sure to number your preferences.
How the application process works for on campus apartments:
- Assignments are made by date of application, so the sooner you submit your housing application the better your chances are of receiving an assignment in the complex of your choice.
- Once we have an assignment for you, complete the Apartment License Agreement and submit it to University Housing, you will need to fill this document out and return it with $150.00.
- Students are only required to give 30 day notice at any time, to leave the apartments, so offers are made year round, based on location on the waiting list and desired date of occupancy.
