Applying for On-Campus Housing

To Apply For the Residence Halls submit the following:

By submitting the above documents will we be able to place you in an assignment for the Residence Halls. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the Residence Life Agreement.

Dates to Remember:

Freshman Pre Registration:
Incoming ISU students can sign-up when they attend freshman registration at Idaho State. Both the application and residence agreement are required along with $150.00 at the time of room selection.

Late Spring: Assignments for the following fall semester are made as students apply.
July 15th: Last day to cancel in writing to receive a deposit refund.
Late July: You will receive a letter of assignment with your roommate's name, home address, and home phone number.
Early August: You will receive a welcome packet, which contains check-in information, bed sizes, opening dates, and more.

If your records have been expunged pursuant to applicable law, you are not required to answer yes to this question. If your answer is yes, you are required to submit a detailed summary of the offense(s) from an appropriate judicial or correctional official, including copies of the police reports, sentencing reports or other evidence satisfactory to the university. Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified in writing of the decision regarding your housing request. Failure to disclose an incident will subject you to potential revocation of your on-campus housing.

Residence Halls

Prices include utilities, local telephone service, and basic cable. All residence halls come furnished. Televisions and microwaves are not provided in any complex. All prices, assignments, and programs are subject to change at the discretion of University Housing.

Apartments

For sophomore level students and above, nontraditional students, or on-campus transfers only. Prices include utilities, local telephone service, and basic cable. Apartments come with a stove, oven, refrigerator (except Graduate House- no kitchens), and Schubert Heights (half size refrigerators), and onsite mail delivery. Televisions and microwaves are not provided in any complex. Please indicate preferences by selecting a first, second and third choice from the drop down menus below.
