HCA Student Advisory Council (SAC)
HCA SAC Charter
Purpose
The HCA Student Advisory Council will provide a communication conduit between the students in the HCA program and the Chair of the HCA Department.
Responsibilities
In fulfilling its charge, the HCA Student Advisory Council is responsible for the following activities and functions:
- Periodically meet to discuss student questions, interests, and concerns and present recommendations as needed to the HCA faculty.
- Student members will be listed on the HCA website as contacts for students with questions or concerns.
- Be a liaison between HCA students and HCA faculty.
Composition
The council chair shall be the HCA Department Chair. The council shall consist of at least four, but no more than eight HCA students, chosen from different class levels. Each February a call for student council members will be put forth. Student members can be self nominated or nominated by HCA students or faculty. Final council composition will be determined by the council chair.
Meeting Schedule
Yearly or as needed.
