Program Description
Name of program: Radiographic Science (AAS, BS)
Program Overview: The program provides professional education in radiography leading to certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). An A.A.S. and a B.S. degree is available with preference given to applicants who have completed the B.S. prerequisites.
Accreditation
ISU is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges (NASC)and, as a result, the radiographic science program graduate is eligible to sit for the national certification examination sponsored by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

The program graduates perform well above the national average on the national certification examination and normally pass on the first attempt.
About the Profession
Opportunities exist locally, statewide, regionally and nationwide for certified medical radiographers.
Potential Salary: $17.00/hr - $20.00+/hr

Three full-time, four clinical faculty and six clinical sites.
All 3 full-time faculty have a Master's Degree and are certified by the ARRT in radiography. Each faculty also has advanced certification in at least 1 specialty area.
