Name of program: Graduate Program In Pharmaceutical Sciences (MS, PhD)
Program Overview: The Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers graduate training in Pharmaceutical Sciences leading to either the Master of Science or the Doctor of Philosophy. Areas of specialization are pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, biopharmaceutics, and biopharmaceutical analysis. Students may apply to the graduate program after competing a bachelor's degree or the equivalent. Students generally complete a master's degree within two years and a doctor of philosophy degree within five years.

Required Degree: Baccalaureate degree in the sciences (e.g., biology, chemistry, psychology) or a professional degree in pharmacy.
Other Prerequisites: Students applying to the program must meet graduate school minimum requirements. Students have the opportunity to make up needed prerequisites after enrollment into the program.
