Our Health Professions Mission

The Idaho Conference on Health Care is an annual event offering workshops and presentations by a variety of health care experts on a range of topics associated with a central health care theme. This year's conference theme is "Caring for Idaho." The conference has been redesigned to focus on providing professional development credits for health care professionals through four distinctly separate tracks. ISU students, staff, and faculty may attend free of charge unless they wish to receive continuing education credits (CEUs) for attendance. Pre-registration by October 15 is required.

Our State-Assigned Role and Mission

The university also has specific responsibilities in delivering programs in the health professions.

"Idaho State University will formulate its academic plan and generate programs with primary emphasis on health professions, the related biological and physical sciences, and teacher preparation."
