Idaho State University–Idaho Falls will hold the seventh annual Majors Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the Bennion Student Union multi-purpose room at University Place.
The event is sponsored by ISU-Idaho Falls Student Services, the office of Counseling, Testing, Career Services and the Bennion Student Union.
Participants can learn about the variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs offered at Idaho State University all in one place. The event is open to all current and prospective ISU students. There will be free food and door prizes.
The fair is designed to assist students in making informed decisions related to their college majors and future career. Information about admission requirements, prerequisites for specific programs, course content and job opportunities related to each degree will also be available.
This is also a great opportunity for students to begin building a professional network within their field of interest. Past fair participants have found that the opportunity to meet with faculty from a variety of departments very valuable in helping them make a decision on choosing a major.
ISU faculty from academic departments and the College of Technology will be on hand to meet with students and answer their questions. In addition, representatives from Central Academic Advising and the Career Center will be available to provide information about academic and career decision-making.
