Idaho State University to host interactive webcast ‘Vitamin D Deficiency and Supplementation’ on March 30

Idaho State University, in conjunction with Southeastern Idaho District Health and Rocky Mountain Learning, will host the live, interactive webcast "Vitamin D Deficiency and Supplementation: A focus on the Relationship with Diabetes Mellitus," on March 30, from noon to 1:15 p.m.
This webcast will discuss in-depth the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and diabetes mellitus. The webcast will also cover the mechanisms by which vitamin D may impact the development and management of diabetes, evaluate the relevant literature addressing the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and diabetes, and appropriate therapy for vitamin D insufficiency.
The webcast presenter will be John Thomas Holmes, Pharm.D., from the ISU Department of Family Medicine.
