The Idaho State University Saudi Students Association will present Saudi Night from 7 to 9 p.m. March 16 in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.
The event will feature authentic Saudi food with a show and presentations about Saudi Arabia. The menu will consist of, among other items, a Saudi chicken and rice dish, hummus, salad, cooked vegetable, Middle Eastern bread, a date dessert and coffee.
Tickets, on sale on the Pond Student Union and the Rendezvous Complex, are $7 for ISU students, $9 for ISU faculty and staff, and $10 for the general public.
The Idaho State University Sigma Xi Science Cafe will feature the "Energizing Idaho: Research in Geothermal and Bioenergy" public presentation and panel discussion at 5 p.m. March 6 at the Portneuf Valley Brewery in Pocatello. (more…)

The Idaho State University Society of Physics Students (SPS) has received the 2012 Outstanding Chapter Award from the National Society of Physics Students and the American Physical Society.
According to Steve Shropshire, ISU professor of physics and astronomy and the faculty advisor for the club, SPS Outstanding Chapters are determined each academic year after a careful review of the information, photos and supporting material presented in annual Chapter Reports. (more…)
The Idaho State University Health Fair 2013 – celebrating its 33rd year – is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and Friday, March 21-22, and will feature more than 65 learning centers on a variety of health issues and blood draws.
Examples of services offered at the fair include everything from body-fat screenings and tests of grip strength, to nervous system evaluations and home health and hospice information.
