Idaho State University's "A Season of Note" will present flamenco guitarist Paco Pena at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Stephens Performing Art Center's Jensen Grand Concert Hall.
Pena embodies both authenticity and innovation in flamenco, according to reviewers. As guitarist, composer, dramatist, producer and artist mentor he has transformed perceptions of this archetypal Spanish art form. (more…)

Health officials confirm one Idaho State University student had tuberculosis; officials will contact those in closest contact with patient for testing
Idaho State University is working with Southeastern Idaho Public Health officials to notify students who were possibly exposed to tuberculosis (TB).
One individual who was in classes at Idaho State University in Pocatello has been diagnosed with TB. Based upon symptoms, the patient was tested, the diagnosis was confirmed, and treatment has begun. (more…)
