• Idaho State Civic Symphony to present: Music from Russia: The Idaho State Civic Symphony will present Music from Russia featuring pianist Kori Bond on Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall inside the Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at www.isu.edu/tickets, or by calling the Stephens Center Box Office at 282-3595. Ticket prices are $32 for adults, $16 for precollege students and $7 for ISU students. (more…)
An Idaho State University Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition titled "Pestilence" will open Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the ISU John B. Davis Gallery in the Fine Arts Building.
The exhibition will close Friday, March 2, and a closing reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception is free and open for public attendance. Memphis, Tenn., native Joanna Cleveland is the artist behind the works. (more…)
Idaho State University announces partnershp with Idaho Regional Optical Network, will increase broadband communication
Idaho State University is increasing its broadband communications infrastructure for enhanced education and research opportunities to serve ISU's main campus, as well as centers in Meridian, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls by entering a partnership with the Idaho Regional Optical Network (IRON).
Access to IRON’s ultra high-speed, fiber optic network will expand ISU's effectiveness in creating opportunities for the school's students, faculty, administrators, and research staff, and will also enhance Idaho's collective ability to advance science, research, education, health care and economic development across the entire state. The Idaho State University Idaho Museum of Natural History is teaming with Alaskan "fin artist" Ray Troll to form a "Helicoprion shark posse" to collect more information about this prehistoric predator that had a "spiral saw" lower jaw that had the appearance of a circular saw blade.

OSLO, Norway – Idaho State University Fulbright scholar Michael Adams will be featured in the exhibit “Skibladnir: Then installation in the Viking Ship Museum” at the Museum of Cultural History at the University of Oslo in Olso, Norway.
The exhibit opened Feb. 1 and runs through March 25. (more…)
