Idaho State University Institute of Rural Health receives National Institute of Mental Health grant

Idaho State University's Institute of Rural Health has received a $22,500 grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to serve as the agency's Outreach Partner for Idaho.

ISU-IRH has served as the NIMH Outreach Partner for Idaho for 15 years and was selected this month for another round of funding. ISU-IRH is one of the state partners as well as representatives from District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. (more…)

Idaho State University Chinese New Year 2012 is Jan. 21

The Idaho State University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) invites the whole community to experience the traditional culture of China at the ISU Chinese New Year Night 2012 on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Idaho State University art professor Rudy Kovacs retires after 31 years at ISU

Idaho State University College of Business maintains prestigious AACSB Business Accreditation

The Idaho State University College of Business has maintained its business accreditation by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees in business and accounting. 

Only 643 schools of business, or less than 5 percent worldwide, have earned this distinguished hallmark of excellence in management education. (more…)

Idaho State University Office of Research to present ‘Lab to Life’ workshop on Jan. 27

The Idaho State University Office of Research will present the free workshop "Lab to Life" for researchers and entrepreneurs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the ISU Rendezvous Complex.

Technology industry executive and educator Rick Ritter will present the workshop based on Wendy Kennedy’s book "So what? who cares? why you™ The Inventor's Commercialization Toolkit." The event’s subtheme is "Turn Your Good Idea into a Great Opportunity." (more…)

Idaho State University Martin Luther King celebration set Jan. 16

The Idaho State University Office of Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity and Diversity will host a Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration on Jan. 16 on the ISU campus.

A march will begin at 1:30 p.m. from the northeast corner of the Holt Arena parking lot. The march will proceed to the Pond Student Union where a program will commence at 2 p.m. in the Bengal Theater. (more…)

Idaho State University’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day set Feb. 4; registration begins Jan. 9

The registration period opens Jan. 9 for this year's celebration in recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day that is scheduled from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Idaho State University Reed Gymnasium.

"In It For the Long Run" is the national theme for this year's day and serves to acknowledge the importance of sport participation for women and girls. This is the 13th year ISU has hosted this event. (more…)
