Art of Gender in Everyday Live V conference at ISU March 5-7

The Anderson Gender Resource Center is pleased to announce The Art of Gender in Everyday Life V,  a multidisciplinary conference to take place March 5-7 in the Pond Student Union Building on the Idaho State University campus. All conference papers will in some way explore the various ways in which gender is crafted, celebrated, endured, deciphered, expressed or, in short, the art of how it is lived on a daily basis. ‘The Unnatural World’ exhibit opens March 3 at Davis Gallery

ISU physics to host Science Olympiad on March 1

The Idaho State University Department of Physics will host a regional Science Olympiad on the ISU campus on March 1.

Sixth- through ninth-grade students from throughout eastern Idaho will represent their schools and communities and compete in teams in a variety of science competitions. Students will compete with remote-controlled robots, balloon-launched gliders, catapults, egg scramblers and several other fun science events. (more…)

ISU’s TRiO program to celebrate 40th b-day on Feb. 29, March 1

The TRiO programs at Idaho State University are planning events Feb. 29 and March 1 to celebrate National TRiO Day and ISU TRiO’s 40th birthday. This year marks the 40th year that TRiO programs, designed to assist low-income, first generation students, have been active on the ISU campus. (more…)
