Free flu shots, traumatic brain injury screenings offered at ISU/Ada County Health Screening Feb. 19

Free flu shots and screenings for hepatitis C and traumatic brain injury are among services offered at an adult community health screening Thursday, Feb. 19, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2920 Cassia St., in Boise.

The screening is for people 18 years and older. Appointments are not necessary. (more…)

Free flu shots and screenings for hepatitis C and traumatic brain injury are among services offered at an adult community health screening Thursday, Jan. 15, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 707 W. Fort St., in Boise.

The screening is the fourth of six scheduled at various Treasure Valley locations through March for adults with no insurance or limited access to preventive health care. Appointments aren’t necessary. (more…)

Idaho State University-Meridian designates scholarship to commemorate Ada County sesquicentennial

An Ada County student attending the Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Center next fall will receive a $1,000 scholarship in honor of the county’s 150th anniversary.

Ada County commissioners and Meridian campus leaders announced the scholarship at the county’s sesquicentennial celebration in Downtown Boise on Dec. 16. (more…)
