AUGUST
27 - Classes begin.
SEPTEMBER
3 - Last day for all masters and educational specialist candidates to submit programs of study for candidates planning to graduate in December 2012.
3 - Labor Day Holiday (no classes - University closed for business).
10 - LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR DECEMBER 2012 GRADUATION
10 - Last day for all doctoral candidates to submit programs of study for candidates planning to graduate in December 2012.
NOVEMBER
12 - Preregistration begins for Spring 2013 Semester.
15 - Application Deadline for Spring 2013 Semester enrollment.
19-23 - Thanksgiving Holiday (no classes - University closed for business the 22nd and 23rd).
DECEMBER
1 - DEADLINE FOR NON-RESIDENT TUITION WAIVER APPLICATION FOR SPRING 2013 SEMESTER (GRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY). Form available in the Graduate School.
7 - Last day for Fall 2012 Oral Exams. Final thesis clearance due within two weeks following oral exam.
15-21 - Final exams.
21 - Last day of Fall 2012 semester.
21 - FINAL PROGRAMS OF STUDY DUE IN THE GRADUATE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS PLANNING TO GRADUATE IN MAY 2013.
JANUARY
14 - Classes begin.
21 - Martin Luther King/Idaho Human Rights Day (no classes. University closed for business).
25 - LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR MAY 2013 GRADUATION.
GRADUATION NOTE - Thesis/dissertation copies in SUBSTANTIALLY FINAL form shall be in the hands of the examining committee at least TWO WEEKS prior to the date scheduled for the oral examination. See "The Instructions for Preparing Theses/Dissertations" at: www.isu.edu/graduate/graduation.shtml for document preparation guidelines. A signed final copy of the thesis/dissertation is due in the Graduate School two weeks following the successful defense.
