18    Last day of Fall 2015 semester.

18    FINAL PROGRAMS OF STUDY DUE IN THE GRADUATE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS PLANNING TO GRADUATE IN MAY 2016.

 

JANUARY

11 Classes begin.

18 Martin Luther King/Idaho Human Rights Day (no classes.  University closed for business).

25 LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR MAY 2016 GRADUATION.

 

FEBRUARY

1 FINAL PROGRAMS OF STUDY DUE IN THE GRADUATE SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS PLANNING TO GRADUATE IN MAY 2016

8 Pre-Registration for Summer 2016 Sessions begins.

President's Day Holiday (no classes - University closed for business)

 

APRIL

1 Application deadline for admission for Summer and Fall 2016 Sessions.

11 Registration begins for Fall 2016 Semester.

22 LAST DAY FOR SPRING 2016 ORAL EXAMS. Final thesis/dissertation clearance due within two weeks following oral exam.

 

MAY

1 DEADLINE FOR NON-RESIDENT TUITION WAIVER APPLICATION FOR FALL 2016 SEMESTER (GRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY). Form available online or in the Graduate School.

April 30-May 6 Finals week.

7 Commencement.

16 Summer sessions begin (varies 4, 6, 8 weeks sessions).

30 Memorial Day Holiday (no classes - University closed for business)

 

JUNE

22 LAST DAY TO APPLY FOR AUGUST 2016 GRADUATION.

JULY

4 Independence Day Holiday (no classes - University closed for business)

22 LAST DAY FOR SUMMER 2016 ORAL EXAMS. Final thesis/dissertation clearance due within two weeks following oral exam.

 

GRADUATION NOTE - Thesis/dissertation copies in SUBSTANTIALLY FINAL form shall be in the hands of the examining committee at least TWO WEEKS prior to the date scheduled for the oral examination.  See AThe Instructions for Preparing Theses/Dissertations@ at: www.isu.edu/graduate/graduation.shtml for document preparation guidelines.  Originally signed signature pages and electronic submission of the thesis/dissertation is due in the Graduate School two weeks following the successful defense.
