TRANSFER STUDENTS
Each year, nearly 1,000 students choose to Be a Bengal and transfer to Idaho State University. Some select ISU because of a specific academic program (we offer nearly 275). Some choose ISU because of our fantastic location. No matter the reasons, all ISU students receive an excellent education at an affordable price!
You are a Transfer Student if:
- you have earned 14 credits or more from another accredited college or university.
Admission Requirements
- Received a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
- Submitted final official transcript from each college attended.
- Paid $40 application fee.
Please request each college or university you've attended to send official transcripts to the Office of Admissions at the address listed below. Students having a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better may be admitted to their appropriate class standing upon review of their official transcript(s).
Please note: Transfer credits will not be evaluated until the student has applied for admission and furnished the Office of Admissions with official transcripts.

Petitions
Transfer students with less than a 2.00 cumulative GPA from previous college work are required to petition for admission. Petitioned applications will be considered individually and admission is not guaranteed. Petitions may be obtained from the Office of Admissions - (208) 282-2475, admiss@isu.edu.
Transfer Articulation
Idaho State University has transfer articulation agreements with several colleges across the western U.S.
