Idaho State University is proud to partner with the Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation to host the first Hispanic Youth Symposium, August 1-3, 2014. (HYS) 4.0. For years, HYS has been an educational empowerment tool for Hispanic/Latino students from across the state of Idaho. With more than 22 years and over 5,500 alumni, this program has been a remarkable resource for students to participate in educational/leadership workshops, scholarships and competitive events.

This year will be the first year that HYS will be hosted on a university campus. Idaho State University was selected as a strong member that could provide HYS 4.0 with resources, but also seek to diverse the student body at ISU. Hispanic/Latino high school juniors will have the opportunity to again be part of the incredible workshops, presenters and atmosphere that HYS brings.

The Hispanic Youth Symposium is a three day event that provides Hispanic/Latino Students with workshops, presentations and mentoring opportunities to Students in Idaho.
