FPPC Meeting Minutes November 15, 2000

Present: Beard(Chair), Campbell, Egger, Hatzenbuehler, Hitchcock, Jacobson,

McWhirter, Laquer, Miller, Pumphrey, Ronald, Watson

Absent: Bhushan (excused)

I. Minutes of November 1, 2000 were approved 6-0-0 with corrections. Will forward

to Faculty Senate for approval.

II. Reports

A. The council briefly discussed the visit with Dr. Lees. The council felt that the

meeting was helpful. It was decided that the council would continue working on

the current draft proposal policy for PPR.

B. The last FPPC meeting of the semester will be on December 6, 2000.

III. Business

A. The council discussed the revised proposal and made necessary corrections and

worked on word usage, and where specific sentences belonged in the proposal.

B. Beard will write a new draft with the changes for the next meeting. The

Council would like to try and obtain a consensus on a final draft at their final

meeting of the semester.
