Minutes of
December 11, 2003 –
Action: Moved by Anderson
and seconded by Leung to approve the minutes of
December 11, 2003. Passed unanimously.
b.
Textbook adoption policy –
Keller added
language to the existing policy (Part 5 Financial Services, Section IV
Property/Purchasing, C. Purchasing, 25 Textbooks, a Departmental Approval), to
include “adoption” of the textbooks.
Action: Moved by Hatzenbuehler and seconded by
Anderson to approve the new language added to the existing policy on textbook
adoption. (See attached). Passed unanimously.

d.
Faculty workload policy -
Action: It was moved and seconded to take the item
off of the table. Passed
unanimously.
There was
discussion concerning the faculty workload policy. It was noted that there is a university policy in place found in
the F/S Handbook, Appendix E. The
workload policy would have to be clarified in each college or department to fit
the needs of those faculty.
