FPPC Meeting Minutes of April 20, 2001
Present: Beard (Chair), Bhushan, Campbell, Egger, Hatzenbuehler, Hitchcock, Jacobson,

Absent: Leung (excused), Miller (excused), Pumphrey (excused)
I. Minutes of April 6, 2001 will be approved at the next FPPC meeting.
II. Business
A. The council discussed the modified draft. Many unneeded faculty titles were
deleted in the revised draft. The council discussed what they liked in the revised
version and what need to be amended in the draft. The council is close to a final
draft. The council agreed on ‘Lecturer’, ‘Associate Lecturer’, and ‘Senior Lecturer’
ranks for non-tenure track positions. The council agreed to keep ‘Adjunct’ for
faculty who qualify in that category. David will bring a final draft to the next
meeting.
B. The council will have an official vote for chair at the next meeting.
