Summer Session 2008

Tuition and Fee Payment Information

Fee processing for Summer 2008 begins in mid-April 2008.  Bills and TranPay forms are sent to students at their local address. Students who pre-register shortly before their classes start should pay fees at the Cashier's Office by Monday of the first week of class.  Students should check on the web site or in person to verify fee payment and registration in classes.  Payments made by employers or other sponsoring agencies usually require students to sign and return the TranPay form to complete the payment process and avoid late fees.

Summer Session fees are charged with the following adjustments: Full-time semester fees are charged th PharmD clerkship students, Physician Assistant students, and Boise Fast-Track Nursing students. Full-time session fees are charged to College of Technology students taking 4 credits or more in the CTech classes. Credit hour rates are charged for summer academic classes and CTech classes less than 4 credits. During the summer non-resident fees are not charged to students charged at the credit hour rate. The rates are listed in the cost information for 2007-2008.

Financial Aid processing begins Wednesday, May 7, 2008, for students that returned their TranPay forms by May 6, 2008, and whose classes begin May 12. Financial aid will normally be processed up to 5 days before classes begin for an individual. Receipts and change checks from May 7 and May 8 transactions will be delivered only by mail. If you wish to pick up your change check personally, do not send your TranPay to us. You must attend in-person registration and fee payment in the PSUB ballroom annex. You may pick up and sign the TranPay forms in Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, or Boise, and the Cashier's Office in those cities will fax the forms to Pocatello for processing. All TranPay processing is currently done in Pocatello, with checks mailed as appropriate. After May 12, TranPay processing will be at the Cashier's Office in the Administration building in Pocatello.

Fee loans are available for Summer Session beginning May 9 at any of the above mentioned Cashier's Offices. Fee loans require a 25% down payment (40% down payment may be required based on prior credit history at the University,) with the balance due July 25, 2008. A non-refundable $10 processing charge is assessed for the fee loan. Interest and penalties accrue if the loan is not repaid in full by the July 25 interest-free due date.

A $50 late handling fee will be charged to students paying fees after Monday of the first week of classes.

Late registration and/or fee payment after the last day to withdraw from class is by permission only. A late registration petition will be required of those students who have not paid fees by the last day to withdraw and a $100 late fee will be charged .
