State Board of Education Meeting Schedule / Agenda Deadline
The Office of Finance and Administration prepares ISU’s finance and HR agenda for the State Board of Education meetings. The deadline for submission dates listed below are the latest possible dates agenda items will be accepted by Finance and Administration for inclusion in ISU’s agenda for the State Board meetings. This allows just two days for preparation of ISU’s agenda for submission to the State Board by their deadline. The Board will not accept items for the agenda after their deadline.
The following Human Resource items require SBOE approval:
1. Any position at a level of vice president (or equivalent and above, regardless of funding source, requires Board approval.
2. The initial appointment of an employee to any type of position at a salary that is equal to or higher than 75% of the chief executive officer’s annual salary.
3. The employment agreement of any head coach or athletic director (at the institutions only) longer than one year, and all amendments thereto.
