Track FAFSA Processing - Use "Financial Aid Channels"
Access the "Financial Aid Channels" on the Finance tab in BengalWeb. These channels will assist you in processing the FAFSA once it has been received by the ISU Financial Aid Office.
- Financial Aid Requirements Channel
- View remaining application requirements, access online documents to complete, and view financial aid requirements history.
- A green check indicates a requirement has been submitted; a red flag means something still needs to be done and will STOP your aid award.
- Students can see remaining requirements by checking frequently; e-mail notification will also be sent with instructions to view BengalWeb
- Financial Aid Information Channel - view award information as processing is completed.
- Review awards, status of application, satisfactory academic progress, and holds.
- Important: Student needs to access BengalWeb to actively accept awards.
- Note: Before beginning of semester, student will need to elect disbursement options. You can find this under the "Finance" tab on right hand side. For assistance visit Guide to BengalWeb. Under "Just for Student" on left hand side (see Fee Payment) or call Financial Services at 282-3000.
- Caution...There may be a balance remaining that the student is responsible for.
- Check the BengalWeb, Finance tab on right hand side. In the channel labeled "My Account", click on the appropriate semester to view balance and fees. Contact the Financial Services Office for assistance at 282-3000.
- Work-Study Balance Channel - balances won't appear until fall of every year, after award-year employment begins.
- Display remaining work-study balance, placement, and supervisor contact information.
- There are no work-study funds in summer months at ISU.
