Before applying for alternative loans you are strongly encouraged to apply for federal student aid using the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before applying for additional private loans. Please review the suggested "Question Student borrowers might pose" to these lenders.
Below is a list of lenders that offer loans to students to help supplement college costs not covered by the Federal Financial Aid Program. This list does not include all lenders, this list is a compilation of lenders, who have worked with ISU students in the past and any lenders who has requested to be listed. We do not recommend one lender over another. We will work with any alternative lender you choose. This is just a starting point.
