Faculty Coordinator

We are looking for someone interested in serving as a part-time Faculty Coordinator for the ISU Faculty and Staff Diversity Center. This person will be instrumental in helping to establish, promote, and resource the Center. Teaching release time will be provided and/or other appropriate arrangements will be made with the individual selected for this position to allow for attention to the Coordinator duties.

The Faculty Coordinator will work with assistance from the Center support staff, existing campus diversity-related groups, and other ISU support units (e.g., Institutional Research, Enrollment Management, and Office of Research). Following initial establishing of the Center, Coordinator duties will include data collection and compilation, grant development and fund raising, promotion of diversity awareness programs, support for faculty and staff recruitment and retention efforts, and representation of diversity issues in university governance.
