Our mission is to encourage energy and water conservation programs, strive to reduce use of non-renewable resources, promote usages of renewable resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Idaho State University has engaged in a wide assortment of energy and environmental conservation programs on the Pocatello campus and elsewhere, saving large amounts of energy, water and taxpayer’s money.
The Idaho State University “Sustainable Energy and Environmental Policy” guide has been developed by ISU Campus Planning Council and has been submitted to the ISU Faculty Senate for approval. It will likely be incorporated into the ISU Faculty/Staff Handbook.
