BengalWeb provides a web-based calendar for your personal use. Click on the calendar icon in the upper right hand corner of your BengalWeb homepage to open your calendar.

Your calendar will appear. You can add and edit events, create a to-do list, send invitations to participate in meetings or events to others with BengalWeb calendars, and maintain a personal address book.
You can also create additional calendars, and view the calendars for Groups to which you are subscribed. For complete calendar help, open your calendar, and then click on the question mark icon (Help) displayed in the upper right hand corner of the calendar screen.

My Calendar Channel
An overview of the information found in your personal calendar is displayed in the "My Calendar" channel found on your Home tab in BengalWeb. From this channel you can click on a scheduled event, task, or pending invitation for more information. To see items for a different date, click on the desired date within the calendar's month view. You can navigate from month to month by clicking on the left and right arrows near the top of the channel.

By default, the channel displays all of the tasks, events, and invitations for your personal calendar; however, if you have more than one calendar, you can set another calendar to be displayed in the channel, and you can adjust the level of detail.

Setting Calendar Display
You can make changes to your calendar by clicking on the calendar icon in the upper right hand corner of your BengalWeb homepage as explained above. But you make changes to the way your calendar is displayed in the "My Calendar" channel on your Home tab by clicking on the pencil icon in the upper right hand corner of the channel itself.

You may edit the following calendar display settings:
- Select Calendar. By default, your personal calendar is displayed. If you are a member of one or more Groups, you can choose to display your personal calendar, or the calendar of one of the groups to which you belong by clicking on the Select Calendar dropdown box.
- Set Level of Detail. By default, all upcoming events and tasks are displayed. To adjust the display of tasks, events, or invitations check or uncheck the box next to the item as appropriate. To limit the number of events or tasks that are displayed in the channel, use the drop-down box next to the item.
- Show Invitations. By default, all invitations are displayed. Uncheck the check box to hide invitations.

When you're done, click the "Save Changes" button to return to your Home tab. Your changes will take effect the next time you log in to the system.
