Team Player Spotlight—Doug Berman,
Senior Project Manager for SunGard Higher Education
Doug Berman is the senior project manager at SunGard Higher Education and has a diverse and varied background in project management. Mr. Berman works closely with David Alexander, TIGERi project manager, coordinating a wide range of implementation activities including both software and consulting services.
Mr. Berman has 15 years of experience in information technology management and higher education administration. His career in higher education started at Columbia University where he was an assistant registrar and an assistant to the dean at Columbia Law School. He then worked as a PeopleSoft student implementation consultant at the University of Massachusetts, New Jersey City University, and Princeton University.
Mr. Berman has also been a team lead for admissions and student records at Stanford University and a project manager for The College of William and Mary, Wake Forest University, and the University of Washington. “We are fortunate to have someone with Mr. Berman’s higher education background and project management expertise working with the TIGERi project,” states David Alexander, TIGERi project manager.
Mr. Berman works with SunGard Higher Education clients in the western region of the United States. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and politics.
