Idaho State University ERP Project News

With the State Board of Education’s endorsement Idaho State University can now move forward with the plan to purchase Oracle software and computer hardware in the first step toward implementing ISU’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project.
The State Board of Education approved $2.4 million for the plan. According to Financial Vice President Ken Prolo, ISU has been putting funds aside in preparation for this project
The ERP project will be implemented in two phases, initially setting up an extensive data warehouse for improved reporting for departments, a new campus portal to provide a common point of access for electronic services, and installing a new human resources and finance system. The next phase will include financial aid and student information systems.
