ISU is in the midst of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project — known as TIGERi — charged with updating and integrating the University's electronic resources.
Powered by Banner software, this project, has helped the University to streamline many of its business processes by implementing a new portal, BengalWeb, for faculty, students and staff. It's a place where you can go to easily find all that you need to know about what's going on at ISU.
The Human Resource and Payroll team members have also implemented a web time entry system. NO more paper time sheets for most employees!
Argos, ISU's new reporting tool, helps ISU personnel access the data they need from the Banner database. Members of the Data Warehouse and Reporting team implemented this system.
The Finance and Purchasing implementation has helped Idaho State University keep track of our costs more close sly. Requisitions are now done online by designated individuals across campus, known as ReqMasters.
Looking Ahead
In April 2010, students will start registering for Fall semester classes using a new registration tool. No more queues! And at the same time, faculty will begin using new tools for managing the classes they teach.
Online fee payment will be available in July 2010. Students will be able to pay their fees online, which means no more waiting in long lines in the ballroom!
