Transfer Applicants
Please submit a Transfer Application for admission to ISU if you are transfering 14 credits or more from a regionallys accredited college or university.
Please note: Students who are transfering fewer than 14 academic credits from other institutions to ISU are subject to the admission requirements for freshmen.
Admission Requirements
- Received a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
- Submitted final official transcript from each college attended.
- Paid $40 application fee.
Please request each college or university you've attended to send official transcripts to the office of Undergraduate Admissions at the address listed below. Students having a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better may be admitted to their appropriate class standing upon review of their official transcript(s).
Please note: Transfer credits will not be evaluated until the student has applied for admission and furnished the Office of Admissions with official transcripts.
Petitions
Transfer students with less than a 2.00 cumulative GPA from previous college work are required to petition for admission. Petitioned applications will be considered individually and admission is not guaranteed. Petitions may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar.
