What Transfer Students Need to Know.
Application Process
- Apply to ISU or mail documents to: ISU Office of Admissions, Campus Box 8270, Pocatello, ID 83209. There is a non-refundable fee of $40.
- Send all official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. If less than 25 credits have been earned, a final high school transcript with graduation date posted is also required.
- Submit official test scores. If less than 14 college credits have been earned and under age 21 at time of application, ACT or SAT scores must also be submitted.
- Financial Aid. If you plan to apply for Federal Student Aid, complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. The institutional code for ISU is 001620. Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Once you have applied you will be sent an admissions evaluation outlining how your previous course work transfers to ISU. This can be viewed on your ISU Portal. ISU Portal is the ISU student information system. ISU students can access all their personal information, grades, transcripts, financial aid, e-mail addresses, bookmarks, register for classes, etc.
