Travel to Pocatello

For those who do not intend to drive to Pocatello, there are a number of options. There are direct flights to the Pocatello Regional Airport from Salt Lake International Airport in Utah. One can also fly into Salt Lake City and rent a vehicle there; the drive from the airport to Pocatello is roughly two and a half to three hours. Alternatively, one can take the Salt Lake Express, a shuttle that travels between Utah and Idaho that can pick up passengers directly from the Salt Lake City Airport. The shuttle drops passengers off at a gas station in Pocatello, so passengers must make further travel arrangements from that location (see below).

Travel Around Pocatello

Once in Pocatello, attendees can rent a vehicle (agencies are available through the airport as well as independently), or they can use one of the local taxi services to get around town. If attendees choose to use a taxi service, it is highly recommended by the Pocatello Airport that they schedule ahead of time. Pocatello also has a public transit service, Pocatello Regional Transit, that could also be utilized. Please note: we are hoping to make a shuttle service available between the conference hotel and the conference venue.
