English Graduate Student Association

EGSA

The English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is an organization that caters to the interests and needs of the diverse graduate community in the ISU English department. Besides providing a sounding board for graduate student concerns, EGSA also offers workshops and information in the arena of academic and professional development, including workshops and presentations guided by ISU faculty. We work closely with the Student Association of Graduates in English (SAGE) at Utah State University to co-sponsor the annual interdisciplinary Intermountain Graduate Conference, held every spring. EGSA also sponsors several ISU events, such as Dead Writers' Night (held every October), and a Marathon Reading (held every spring).

EGSA meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 12:00 in LA 244. If you are interested in participating, please contact Jacob Claflin at egsa@isu.edu.
