The College
of Business assigns mentors to new tenure track and adjunct faculty to
help them make the transition to teaching at Idaho State University. Mentors
work with new faculty throughout their first year or longer to help those
new to the College of Business make the transition to teaching. After
you are hired, your mentor will contact you and you will have a source
for some of the questions you may have as you begin teaching.
This website
is designed to supplement your relationship with your mentor and answer
some of the questions you might have as you are getting started. Information
on getting started, the support staff, preparing for the first day of
class and teaching at the Idaho Falls campus is included. (In addition
the site contains a calendar listing College of Business and other events
or deadlines that you will need to be aware of throughout the academic
semester.)
