Economics and the Classroom Conference
Department of Economics at Idaho State University and Addison-Wesley Publishers announce Call for Presentations and Papers for the Eighth Annual Economics and the Classroom Conference

Treasure Mountain Inn
Park City, Utah
Submission Deadline: June 30, 2006
Confirmed Keynote Speakers
Conference Schedule
You are invited to submit a proposal for the presentation of a paper or workshop. Presentations should address an issue germane to the teaching of economic concepts. Possible presentation topics include, but are not limited to, experiments for the classroom, pedagogical issues, active learning, course content concerns, using PCs in the classroom, teaching evaluation and assessment, fostering the economics major, and research addressing student performance.
Given the wide range of disciplines with economic foundations, such as finance and political science, we encourage those teaching in these fields to present papers at this conference so that more of the issues concerning teaching economic concepts are represented.
Submission Information: Please send a 300 - 500 word summary of your presentation. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2006.
Registration Information: The conference registration fee is $275 before July 10th and $300 afterwards. Registration is limited to 100 participants. The registration fee covers all conference materials, refreshments, and the following meals: Thursday's lunch and dinner, and Friday and Saturday's breakfast and lunch.
