About Us
The ISU Physical & Occupational Therapy Associates clinic is operated by the Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy at Idaho State University. This clinical setting provides a practical teaching arm for the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Occupational Therapy programs, facilitates innovative faculty research studies, and provides quality therapy services for the ISU and greater Pocatello communities.
As part of the educational mission of the department and the clinic, certain hours of clinic operation are used for student education practicums. During these hours, students observe, evaluate, and treat patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. When scheduling appointments, patients have the option of scheduling during practicum or non-practicum hours.
The therapy staff has a variety of specialized backgrounds. The clinic offers treatments with individualized care plans for each patient and works closely with referring. Between ISU Physical & Occupational Therapy Associates and the university’s Speech, Language, and Hearing clinic, patient treatment can include physical therapy, occupational therapy, audiology, and speech pathology if required.

ISU Physical & Occupational Therapy Associates is located in Garrison House (building #63) on the corner of East Terry Drive and Memorial Drive on the Idaho State University campus. Patient parking is available on either side of the building, and parking permits can be obtained from the clinic secretary prior to appointments.
