The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is a national research effort organized by the American College Health Association to assist college health service providers, health educators, counselors and administrators in collecting data about their students' habits, behaviors and perceptions on the most prevalent health topics:
- alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use
- sexual health
- weight, nutrition, and exercise
- mental health
- injury prevention, personal safety, and violence
The results of the survey are used to:
- Address a broad range of health risk and protective behavior, consequences of behavior and perception among students.
- Tailor health programs and services specific to the needs of our students.
- Compare health risks and perceptions of Idaho State University students to students across the state and nationally.
